A rare product - A traditional harvesting

Among all its products of saffron, the master piece of Avenue Safran is Avenue Safran Premium (pistils). The harvesting of saffron takes place every year in December. Crocus flowers grow at 3.000 m high, on the Himalaya's slopes, and pistils are manually picked, one by one.
Every year, a part of these crocus are replanted in the mountain : so Avenue Safran Premium can be considered as a half-wild culture product, without any pesticides.

When the harvesting is over, pistils dry on the sun, with an ancestral technique kept secret. This drying technique is the key of the incredible taste of Avenue Safran Premium, approved by the greatest cookers.
