Paella rapido (4 persons)
Ingredients
- 400g rice (for risotto)
- 1 onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 liter poultry broth
- 2 tomatoes
- 250g cooked shrimps (shelled)
- 3 dried Cayenne chillis
- 1 teaspoon of saffron (pistils)
Preparation
- Peel the onion and cut it in small dices. Cut also the green pepper in small dices. Scald a few seconds tomatoes, to remove the skin easily from it. Cut them in two and then in half-slices.Prepare the poultry broth (keep it warm if it's possible).
- In a frying pan, put the onion and the green pepper in the olive oil, and add the rice. When the rice becomes transluscent, add the poultry broth. Add the saffron and the Cayenne chillis. Cover the frying pan, and keep it cook during 20 minutes, on a low fire.
- Until 10-15 minutes of cooking, add the shrimps and the tomatoes. Cover the frying pan.
- When the rice absorbs all the poultry broth, take off the Cayenne chillis.
- Check seasoning : Enjoy your meal !
