Aperitif biscuits with Parmesan and saffron (6 persons)

Ingredients

  • 250g flour
  • 250g grated Parmesan
  • 250g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • few pinches of saffron powder

Preparation

  1. Mix the flour, the Parmesan, the butter and the eggs. Keep it in the fridge during 1 hour.
  2. Make a roll with this mixture (diameter 5cm). Roll it in the flour, and cut it in slices (3mm thick). Put them on a oven plate (covered with butter).
  3. Put in the oven at 200°C during 10 minutes, until the biscuits take a blond but not golden colour.
  4. Take out the biscuits from the oven, and add directly a little pinch of saffron powder on each biscuits.
  5. Let cool, and savour them at aperitif, with champagne or white wine.
